LABC is the national organisation representing local authority building control
departments in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Acknowledged as the UK’s leading national building control service, they are committed
to ensuring that buildings are healthy, safe, sustainable and accessible for all
users and tenants whether domestic, commercial or public service.
Each local authority provides a service to ensure building work complies with the
Building Regulations. The Regulations ensure that we live, work and play in a safe
and healthy built environment.
